If you use Outlook, you might have notice there is error saying that – it can’t create the file and to that you need check the permissions on the folder you want to save it, etc. in opening attachment in Outlook 2007 or 2010. Now as we all are aware that there is nothing to do with the permission. It’s the issue that Outlook couldn’t copy and open a file into its designated folder anymore.
Therefore, to solve this issue simply put, you can make the problem go away temporary by cleaning up the Outlook temporary files.
The default location of Outlook 2010 temporary file in Windows 7 is in a random folder under the following path:
%userprofile%AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet FilesContent.Outlook
Now to make it more easier, one of the members of Tech Guy had given batch scripting code and we can create batch file for the same. We can simply run batch file and to make the problem go away.
Use OutlookTempCleaner for Remove Outlook Temp Files
